All prices are subject to change without notice. From time to time, there may be errors in the pricing that appears on the Website or during the order process.  We will try to resolve, in good faith, any issues that may arise as a result of such errors. You need to cooperate with us to resolve such issues, and you agree that we shall have full discretion to determine the appropriate resolution in such cases. If we have made a mistake, and the correct price is lower than the stated price, we will charge the lower amount. If the correct price is higher than the price displayed on the Website, we may check with you to see if you want to continue with the order at the higher price or cancel your order.

OFFERS

For the avoidance of doubt, this means we will not be able to match these prices or promotions in our offline stores.

ORDERING AND PAYMENT

CUSTOMS REQUIREMENTS

You are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country to which the items will be delivered. Cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Our system is designed to limit the ability of users in certain jurisdictions to order certain products and services not permitted in such jurisdictions, but we cannot guarantee that any third party providers of products and services use similar mechanisms. We cannot be responsible for any instance in which items ordered via the Website are delayed, detained or destroyed by local customs authorities due to non-compliance with local requirements. We cannot be responsible for any instance in which items ordered via goyalbooksonline.com are subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination; you are responsible for any customs-related charges. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason, you are not completely satisfied, you may exchange, replace, or credit your purchase within 7 days of receiving your order and in accordance with the guidelines set out in these Terms. Items purchased via goyalbooksonline.com may be returned, within seven days of your receipt of such items, new, unused, in original packaging, and with all labels and tags still attached. All items returned in accordance with these criteria will be refunded to the original purchaser’s credit card (excluding all shipping costs, international customs duties, and sales taxes). Returns that do not comply with these criteria may be accepted at our sole discretion, and may only be refunded as a store credit. The following items cannot be exchanged Special orders, dated items such as diaries and calenders, sale/clearence/discounted items, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks, or other content  contained on the digital media, travel books, study Aids, Past papers, Children music books, Annuals, Cookbooks. These returns and exchange terms are subject to any strictly applicable legal requirements to the contrary.

For Uniforms, Apparels, If the Goods are defective, incorrect or damaged on delivery, please notify us with 48 hours of delivery of any problem and return the Goods to us. All Goods being returned should be returned at a Threads retail outlet, and should be accompanied by the original receipt. The original card in on which it was paid for will be credited. We ask that you allow us to (at your option) repair, replace or refund you for the price paid for any Goods which are found to be defective, incorrect or damaged on delivery. If you opt to exchange the Goods, any additional payments must be received in full. Goods will not be despatched until such payment has been received.

REFUNDS

Refunds will only be given in exceptional cases and where there is a valid reason for the refund (less any applicable discount, shipping costs) by re-crediting your payment card account from which the money was originally debited. All refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. The time taken to be refunded to your Debit/Credit card is dependent on the time your bank takes to process the refund. No refund or ex-change on Swimwear, Socks, Leggings & tights. Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment. Any purchase, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE. The following items cannot be refunded: Special orders, dated items such as diaries and calenders, sale/clearence/discounted items, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks, or other content  contained on the digital media, travel books, study Aids, Past papers, Children music books, Annuals, Cookbooks.

 

 

DELIVERY INFORMATION

When Will My Items Arrive?

Dispatch times vary for each seller and product even if they are ordered at the same time. To find out how long an item takes to dispatch or who is the seller, please view the relevant product page.

Shipping Charges for Northern Emirates and Outside coverage Area

There is a flat shipping charge of AED 20 for all shipments delivered to Al Ruwais, Al ghayathi, Sas al nakhl and Northern Emirates

Items Sold By Goyals:

Once your order has been dispatched, Goyals offer the following times for delivery in business days (Sun-Thur):

  • UAE: 4-5 business days
  • All other countries: 10-21 business days

International Shipping

My Order Hasn’t Arrived:

It’s very rare that an order does not get delivered, but should your order not arrive we will issue a full refund after 28 days of your order being shipped. If it hasn’t been 28 days since your order was shipped, please allow time for your order to arrive. Whilst your order should arrive within 28 days, in some cases orders can be delayed in transit or held at customs.

Please note we’re only able to issue refunds on orders that don’t arrive if reported to us within 40 days of your order date.

Undeliverable Parcels:

Occasionally parcels are returned as undeliverable. As we can’t re-dispatch orders that have been returned to us, when a carrier returns a parcel as undeliverable we’ll issue you a full refund, including the delivery costs.

If you’d still like to purchase the items in the parcel you’ll need to place a new order.

A parcel might be returned as undeliverable for several reasons:

  • Incorrect address/contact details – If the address is incorrect or outdated the parcel will typically be returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check the address carefully when placing your order.
  • Incorrect address format – If our system doesn’t recognise the way an address was entered the parcel may be assigned to a carrier that can’t deliver to that address.
  • Failed delivery attempts – Most of our carriers will make more than one attempt to deliver a parcel. If they find that they can’t successfully deliver your parcel it’ll be returned to us.
  • Damaged in transit – If a parcel is damaged while it’s on its way to you the carrier may return it without attempting delivery.

Click & Collect Policy

Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID and your proof of purchase (either digitally or printed). We will also ask for the mobile number used to place the order.

If you wish to designate another person to pick-up your order, they must bring A forwarded copy of your proof of purchase with your written consent, including the full name of the designated person that matches their government-issued photo ID.

You must pick up your purchase no later than 1 week after your selected pick-up date. If you do not pick up your order within this period, your purchase will be returned to the Goyals dispatch location. A maximum of 3 attempts to contact the customer will be made for collection reminder.

 

CHANGE OF WEBSITE AND CESSATION OF OPERATIONS

Goyals reserves the right to change or correct any errors or omissions in the Website, and to alter, limit or discontinue the provision of any of the services provided via the Website, at any time without prior notice to you.   Goyals will use reasonable efforts to include up-to-date and accurate information in the Website, but it reserves the right to delete, modify, or supplement the content of goyalbooksonline.com at any time for any reason without prior notification.
