Why do I need to register on the site before I can place an order?

Establishing an online account with Goyalbooksonline.com assures you that your purchasing information is secure, confidential and accessible to you.  Once you establish an account, you will only need to sign-in to place an order in the future, check on the status of your current order,  view past purchases or update your profile information.

I received a promotional offer and I want to place my order online. Can I?

Yes you can. During the checkout process, you will see an Enter Promotion Code button

(individual accounts) or an Enter Promotion Code link (business accounts). Simply enter your promotional code(s) in the field(s) provided and the right offer(s) will be applied.

My order hasn't arrived yet; can I check the status of my order online?

Yes. If you are Signed In to your account, click on Orders in the header above to review open order status.

How long does it take for delivery to UAE destinations?

For domestic shipments, please allow 4-7 days – for delivery.

How long does it take for delivery to International destinations?

When we ship orders to international destinations it can take 10-21 Days when shipping surface postal mail, depending on final destination.. The charges for surface or airmail service, is based on the weight of the package.

What if I can't find what I'm looking for?

The best way to locate a product in the online bookstore is to use the Product Search functions located in the top navigation area of the bookstore. If you need further help, mail us at mailtogoyalbooksuae@gmail.com, or use the Facebook/Whatsapp Contact plugins to get in touch with us. Alternatively, you may contact us on the customer service numbers mentioned on the website.

If you are looking for information on other Goyalbooksonline.com services or programs, type a keyword in the Search box in the upper right corner of any page on the Goyalbooksonline.com Web site. If you have a product catalog, you can order items by their item number in Online Quick Order.

Do I have to use a credit card to order online? Are purchase orders accepted?

Most online orders require the use of a credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Are transactions safe?

YES. Goyalbooksonline.com provides Internet security by:

  • hosting our site on a secure server. No other company or organization shares the server we use to store information.
  • Creating secure areas of the Web site for the transfer of confidential information such as your credit card number in our online bookstore. When using Internet Explorer, for example, you’ll know an area of the site is secure when you see a lock in the bottom left order of your screen.

How will Goyalbooksonline.com protect my anonymity?

Confidentiality is important to us. Goyalbooksonline.com respects your anonymity. Orders are sent in plain packages. We do not share our mailing list with any organization outside of Goyalbooksonline.com. If you wish to discontinue receiving catalogs or email from us, you can do so by changing your Preferences if you are logged in. Or, contact us at our customer service numbers, email us, or follow the “unsubscribe” directions on your next email message.

How do I receive a printed catalog?

Just fill out Request a Catalog form, email us at mailtogoyalbooksuae@gmail.com or call us at our customer service numbers mentioned.

When you place an order, you will automatically receive a catalog. 

How do I notify you of changes to my mailing address and email address?

If you wish to change any information on your customer profile, Sign In, and you can update your information on your Profile 

Searching for products within the bookstore

Browse: To find all published resources on a subject, click on the dark gray tabs in the upper navigation of the bookstore to search by marketplace and major subject area. Use the browser box on the left side of the screen to refine your search to specific topic areas.

 

Search Box: To optimize your search results, we suggest using a single, specific keyword word search term. Examples: Use the four-digit catalog number if your have it, or a specific word from the book’s title, (such as Northland in the title Project Northland), or an author’s last name. If you don’t know specific information, type in a keyword such as parenting, Al-Anon, medallions, or meditation.

Advanced Search: To refine your search more specifically, click on the link to Advanced Search (to the right of the Goyalbooksonline.com logo above). Choose the category of product you’re looking for from the dropdown menu and then enter a keyword.  You can also exclude words that are not relevant to your search or lead to too many results.

I've tried to e-mail the Goyal Books Store and received no response. Why is this?

Goyals cares about spam prevention. If the subject line of your message isn’t clearly directed at the bookstore (or is entirely blank), your e-mail might be filtered into our junk mail folder. To avoid this, please make sure to include a subject line in your message, and include the relevant book title(s) if possible. All e-mail queries are addressed promptly, usually within 1-2 business days.

If you still can’t get through, call us on our customer service numbers, or contact us on our facebook/ whatsapp contact plugin.

What is an ISBN?

Every published book is given both a 10-digit and a 13-digit ISBN which are unique to that exact edition of the text. The ISBN can be found on the back cover of the text or inside the book on the page containing copyright information. For books that come shrink-wrapped with additional content, the ISBN on the shrink-wrap will be different that the ISBN on the textbook.

Do I need to have the same edition as specified on the textbook list?

It depends. Some textbooks vary a great deal between editions and others are almost identical. You will need to contact your course instructor or program office to determine if you can use another edition. 

Can I have my order put on hold for me to pick up?

Yes. If you’ve placed your order with the Bookstore by email we will process it during our regular business orders and email you to confirm when it is ready for pick up.  The online store also has an option for pick up orders that you can choose instead of shipping.  You will receive an e-mail you when your order is ready.  Orders can be picked up at the library circulation desk.

Can I email my credit card information?

We request that you do not e-mail credit card information for your own safety. Please call our secure customer service numbers to place your order.

When will you charge my credit card?

Your credit card will be charged when your order has been processed, typically the same business day we receive your order.

How do I track my package?

The Bookstore will e-mail customers a tracking number. If you have any questions about your tracking information, please contact us.

Do you ship internationally?

Absolutely! Unfortunately, this website cannot generate international shipping quotes.  If you’d like to have your books shipped outside of UAE, please email us with your address, a contact phone number, and a list of the books you need.  We will provide a shipping quote for you.  At that point, we will need to confirm credit card details.  If you can’t call us on our numbers during business hours, let us know and we can make alternate arrangements.

Do you sell used textbooks?

Due to space limitations, we only carry new copies of required texts for current courses. 

Do you buyback textbooks?

The Goyals bookstore does not offer a buyback program

Do you provide duplicate receipts?

The receipt you receive at the time of purchase is our only copy.  If your books were shipped to you, the receipt should be either taped to the front of your shrink-wrapped text, or tucked inside.
