They were insecure and hence, cruelty leads to the development of revolutionaries in the country. Charles who looks like Sydney Carton marries the daughter of Dr. Manette. Dr. Manette had been to the prison of Bastille in France for twenty years. He is captured and released without any reason. Lucie, his daughter brings him back to normal and for this it takes five long years. Sydney Carton also loves Lucie and he sacrifices his life for the husband of his love.
